The Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute’s Annual Fall Conference will be held at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis on October 29, 2013. The conference is the nation’s longest-running and best-attended one-day real estate appraisal education and networking event.
Our appraisers will be presenting and moderating topics at the conference. Walter Carney, MAI, will be presenting on the topic of analyzing leases in valuation assignments, and Yvonne Broszus, MAI, will discuss the various nuances of ground leases. These sessions are moderated by John A. Hillas, SRA, and Josh Fronen, MAI.
The conference features a series of important real estate, economic, and appraisal-related topics that we think you may find interesting, such as business valuations, special purpose properties, Net Zero Energy buildings, valuing agricultural properties and water rights, and appraising high-end residential properties in a rebounding market. There will also be timely updates on the regional real estate market.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Catherine Austin Fitts, who will be presenting on trends in the global financial market and their impacts on the Bay Area real estate markets.
For additional details regarding the session topics and all of the presenters, please refer to the Fall Conference Brochure.
